UNDP Holds Fourth Interactive Dialogue

On November 1, 2019, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) organized the fourth Interactive Dialogue on Digitalization. This term is widely used in the media, educational institutions, at government and working levels, and as a result there is a need to disclose the concept of digitalization and to discuss current processes, difficulties and risks that concern representatives of private and public sectors.

During the fourth Interactive Dialogue, 10 representatives of state agencies and private companies of Turkmenistan - experts in various fields of digitalization delivered presentations. Topics of the Interactive Dialogue included e-government, e-commerce, modern business management systems, information technology education and electronic marketing. Participants were more than 100 representatives of ministries and departments, private sector and public organizations of Turkmenistan.

UNDP Interactive Dialogue is a platform for open discussions on the development of Turkmenistan. This event is held annually on the most relevant topics discussed by society and the government.

The 2019 event is dedicated to piloting the master's program in digitalization at the Civil Service Academy under the President of Turkmenistan as part of the joint UNDP project.
